Why trust your audio-visual equipment to the local appliance or TV repair shop?

Customers from across the U.S. ship their machines to us for repairs.  Our technicians are uniquely qualified to care for your specialized equipment and return it to factory specifications and like-new performance.  We guarantee our work for 90 days (see warranty information below).

We recommend obtaining an estimate before beginning repairs.  In some cases, purchasing new equipment may prove more economical than repairing old, obsolete machines.  Sometimes, parts may no longer be available.  Upon receipt, your credit card will be charged for the posted estimate fee only (see below).  The estimate fee is will be credited to your final invoice after repairs are complete.  The estimate fee will remain on your credit card, only if you choose not to proceed with repairs, for which parts are available.  If repairs are authorized as quoted, the estimate fee is waived.  (See estimate fees below; fees varies according to equipment).

Your card will not be "charged" until authorized repairs are complete and equipment is ready to return.  Your final invoice charges will have return shipping charges and appropriate insurance added.      Estimates are quoted as soon as possible, but may be 7 to 10 working days after receipt of equipment.  We will acknowledge receipt of your machine upon arrival and give you an estimated report date for your repair estimate.

Be sure to package your equipment carefully with adequate padding to prevent damage in shipment.  If you do not have the original equipment packaging, we recommend an oversized, double-wall corrugated box, using heavy foam inside.  Packaging "peanuts" often shift and do not provide good protection.  If original packaging material received will not ensure a safe return trip (in our opinion), you will be charged for new packaging material necessary to properly protect and package the equipment.  We cannot be responsible for damage incurred during transit in route to our office.  Insure your equipment with your carrier for replacement value.  Be sure to include your complete name and contact information with day and night-time telephone numbers.  Do not include your credit card number in the package.

The charges stated below reflect the repair of defects, plus cleaning, complete preventative maintenance, adjustments as needed, and lubrication of the equipment.  Parts costs and labor to replace them are in addition to prices stated below and will be included in our quotation following individual examination and subsequent estimate.  We accept Mastercard, Visa and Discover.

Note: We do not do service on certain video cameras, video equipment and certain other specialty type of equipment.  Please call our toll free number, (888) 275-7004, with your brand and model number before shipping your equipment for service.

Warranty Information:

Repairs and parts are guaranteed for a period of 90 days from date of final invoice.

Notify AV MediaPlace as soon as discover a problem.  If any visible shipping damage to carton is evident, contact the delivery carrier and record your damage claim; even if you suspect possible hidden freight damage.

If your machine malfunction is within our 90 day warranty period, and if the malfunction is the same as originally repaired, we will correct the problem at no charge and pay the return freight expenses.  If our investigation reveals a different malfunction, even though outward symptoms may be similar, additional charges may apply.
