The Sampling Frequency must be 44.1 kHz.
B.
Even though most CD-R masters will accept 80
minutes of audio, we recommend the maximum program duration not
exceed 78 minutes.
C.
The highest track number should not exceed 99.
1.
CD/CDR Masters
a. Masters
must follow Sony/Philips Red Book Specifications EXACTLY.
CD-R discs
must be recorded in “Disc-at-once” mode only.
b. Please
specify the make and model of CD Recorder used for CDR disc (i.e.
Sony, Philips, Marantz, Pioneer, etc.)
c. When
setting index points on a CDR recorder that is capable of Frame
Accuracy, an offset of 5 SMPTE frames is recommended, to avoid the
Track audio
from being clipped off.
2.
Track Sheet
a. Prepare
an accurate list of beginning and ending points for each track.
Time must be given in minutes/seconds/SMPTE frames format,
referenced to time of 00:00:00.
b.
Please indicate any unusual noises or special effects.
Include relevant comments regarding the quality of the recording.
c. Note
whether pre-emphasis is used on each track.
Suggestion –
Do not supply
the only master copy you have. Please keep a safety copy.
