Warranty

Your Warranty Offer:
Verity Systems provides you with a one year warranty on your product.  Rimage Prism Plus printers carry a six month warranty; all thermal printer heads are warranted for 30 days.  Matisse Gold and Cezanne Pro printer caddies are considered consumable items.  So that Verity Systems may validate your warranty, you should return your warranty card within 30 days of purchase.  Be sure to enter the model number and serial number on the warranty card clearly.

Nature and Extent of Warranty:
If your Verity Systems product or any of its accessories fails to operate to its specification at any time during the warranty period, we will repair it.  The repair will provide you with a product which, in our opinion, performs consistently with its age and usage.  The warranty period begins when the product is purchased by its first user.  If your product needs repairing during its warranty period, please contact your supplier.

Returning the Product for Repair:
The product needs to be packed securely on its original packaging and returned to Verity Systems.  Your product will be repaired at our manufacturing headquarters or at one of our appointed service facilities.  Once the repairs are completed, the unit will be returned to the address instructed.  The warranty does not cover visits by an engineer to repair the product at your premises, or the commissioning of the product on site.  This warranty is a promise by us to you, the customer, that we will repair certain faults.  Our policy requires the customer to return the product to us at customer expense; Verity Systems will return the repaired product to the customer at company expense.

Limitations of Warranty:
Some failures are not covered.  Verity Systems will not provide warranty coverage if, in our opinion, the problem resulted from externally caused damage or use outside the product specification, or from the use of options, parts or consumables which are not Verity Systems approved.  The warranty does not cover the replacement of used consumables or of parts which need replacement during the life of the product, as a result of the use of them, unless the consumables or parts themselves are defective.  See your manual for further details of warranty.

Warranty Extension:
You may extend your original factory warranty by an additional 12 months if you wish to do so.  Cost of 2nd year warranty equals 8% of MSRP and is purchased through AV MediaPlace.  Ask for details.
