The VS-4000 is a
tabletop mounted unit, which can be easily transported if
required. The semi-automatic operation is simple and effective.
The first seal is effected manually and the finishing folds and
seal are completed automatically.
Pre-cut sheets of
the polypropylene wrapping material are placed on the VS-4000
folding tray. Simply place the Jewel Case onto the pre-cut sheet,
close the cover, which tensions the wrapping, then and make the
first heat-seal. Place the Jewel Case into the hopper for the
second fold and seal operation, which is fully automatic. The
result is a professionally folded and sealed CD. |

The wrapping
material can be supplied in boxes of 10,000 sheets from Verity
Systems, alternatively the full specification for the wrapping
material is defined overleaf for local supply.
The VS-4000 is a cost
effective solution to providing professionally finished CD
packaging for short run work, at a tenth of the cost of industrial
equipment.
The operator simply
places the jewel case onto the pre-cut sheet, closes the cover,
which automatically tensions the wrapper and makes the first weld.
The operator then drops the jewel case into the hopper of the main
VS-4000 wrapper for it to complete the operation. |
